Dallas Winter Jewish Wedding

Brittney and Ken’s wedding day was a perfect winter day in Texas! Her dusty purple and silver color pallet made for the most beautiful photos for her winter jewish wedding. The Joule was the perfect venue to achieve the elegant and romantic style that Brittney was dreaming of.

How they met

Brittney and Ken met while working at Nordstrom. They had known of each other but really hit it off one night when they were paired together as “manager in charge” of the entire store. Ken asked Brittney for her phone number so he could “get in touch with her that night if any issues were to arise.” From there on out, they started talking and eventually dating.

How he proposed

Ken had everyone Brittney knew and loved in on the proposal. It started 2 weeks prior when Brittney’s boss asked her to “host an event” the night of the proposal. When the time came for the event, Brittney’s boss took her downstairs to the first floor of Nordstrom. There was a red carpet outside leading to a limo. Brittney’s sister was in the limo and they started on their journey around Dallas, stopping at meaningful spots along the way.

The first stop was the location of of their first date. Brittney’s brother was there waiting for her. Then at the second stop, Ken’s mom was there to surprise them. The 3rd stop was their old condo, where Brittney’s mom, dad, and both of her grandmothers were waiting for her. Finally, they ended up back at Brittney and Ken’s new house. When they arrived candles and rose petals marked a path to the backyard where Ken was waiting down on one knee. And the rest is history!

The Details

On Brittney and Ken’s winter jewish wedding day, nothing was overlooked. Every little detail was thought out and intentional. Including some personalized details we simply couldn’t leave out!

40 years ago, the Goldberg’s family business started on Main street in downtown Dallas, now where the Joule Hotel is located. What is now a diamond wholesale business, started as a small hamburger stand ran by Brittney’s grandfather Herbie.

There, he and his son Miles (Brittney’s dad) would flip burgers and sell them to clients on the street, and even founder of Neiman Marcus – Stanley Marcus, in front of their flagship store.

As a fun tribute, we made a “Herbie’s grille” replica to coordinate to the wedding decor in honor of him, and their families start. We love how this special tribute was a start for the Goldberg family, and now a new start as husband and wife for Ken and Brittney, on Main Street, where it all began.

Exceeded all of my

very high

expectations

The entire Pop Parties team is the most organized, communicative, and on-it team I have encountered Their response time is unbelievable and made my entire wedding day stress-free. Not one detail was missed, and the wedding was the most beautiful and fun evening. They maintained professionalism, while also feeling like a close friend through the entire process. I could not recommend them enough.
