It’s Wedding Week: Jenna and Aaron

It’s wedding week for Jenna and Aaron! Jenna has brought so much joy and so many memories to the Pop Parties team as one of our lead planners. She is truly an integral part of this team and we can’t wait to give her the wedding of her dreams. We are so excited to celebrated Jenna and Aaron this weekend!

how they met

Jenna and Aaron met in the spring of 2012. The two never really had a conservation aside from the weekly Fuzzy’s Taco Shop order Aaron placed. It wasn’t till the fall of 2012 when the two had their first real conversation that wasn’t about chips and queso. They found that they were both interested in exploring the historic Baker Hotel and decided to be adventurous and take a look inside. Little did they know at the time, that would be their first date and the two have been inseparable ever since!

Aaron spent weeks planning the perfect proposal! Recruiting friends for ring shopping, stalking Pinterest, and asking Jenna the strangest questions about ring sizes. It was December 17th, 2016 1 week after their formal 4 year anniversary and the two made the trek to Mineral Wells where they met. Aaron told Jenna to get ready to make a Christmas video for Aaron’s parents who live out of state.

They headed to The Baker Hotel where they had their first date and Aaron setup all his camera gear to make this “Christmas Video”. He then handed Jenna his phone, a video started to play and like any good proposal story there was a bit of a mishap and the video just stopped right in the middle. Aaron got down on one knee and said “Well I didn’t really prepare anything, because the video had it all. But I want to spend the rest of my life with you, will you marry me?” And of course Jenna said yes (but not before a little laugh). The last surprise that Aaron had up his sleeve was their friends and family were waiting at the Fuzzy’s that the two had met at and were ready to celebrate and had captured everything from across the street!
