High School Sweethearts at the Belo Mansion

Shenny and Nathan met in high school and have been inseparable ever since. Their love story is a sweet one, and their wedding day was full of sweet, blush details to reflect the bride’s classic feminine style. These two high school sweet hearts had a party to remember at the Belo Mansion!

After many years of skiing together, Beaver Creek Village became a second home. Over the Christmas holidays, Nathan and Shenny were walking through the village where it was snowing. Nathan stopped her and asked for a photo of her in the snow for his grandmother who was turning 90
that day. He explained that his grandmother wanted a picture of her because she knew how special Shenny is to him.

As he told her where to stand, he stopped and got down on one knee. All she heard were cheers because he had surprised her with both of their families being able to witness the proposal and celebrate with them! As he turns to put the ring on her hand, he asked jokingly (but really serious) which finger the ring goes on which she found amusing and endearing. Later, after pictures were taken he looks over at her and confusingly asks “did you say yes?” which she laughed and excitedly responded “I said of course!”

We asked Shenny what she wanted her wedding day to be like, and this is what she had to say!

” want an epic party surrounded by loved ones! Classy and lots of fun! Not stuffy but still classy. I would like the DJ to emcee and make it more fun on the dance floor. And, some latin influence to show with a touch of my New Orleans heritage.”

Our team tied in a classy wedding reception in black and blush, a few touches of navy and an epic DJ to make the party come to life. And, we even had a mardi gras jester on stilts to pass out dance floor props!

What a DREAM.

Molly and Pop Parties is THE WAY TO GO. From our first meeting, she wanted to know what my husband and I were looking for but also straight forward with my mom and me in what was realistic for our budget, which we greatly appreciated!

She helped us navigate vendors, make decisions and turned our dream into a reality. Molly and her team are extremely organized, communicate quickly and really keep the event as a whole experience. 

Leading up to the wedding – we felt like their #1 priority even though we know they had other events going on. They were extremely accommodating with any drama (last minute RSVP no shows or add-ins) and even helped with the rehearsal and rehearsal dinner. Many vendors commented that “we are in good hands”.

The entire wedding day Molly and her team were calm, cool, and collected. They are extremely professional with the perfect touch of excitement for the big day. We literally looked up and it was all taken care of for us. Our wedding looked beautiful, felt elegant, and was a lot of fun. THANK YOU!!! To top it off, many of our guests said it was a “PERFECT” wedding.
