Perfect in Peach at Hickory Street Annex

Tyson and Victoria met in college when he was just starting nursing school. He was studying with one of her sorority sisters in our house when I had just woken up. I had the messy bun going on, and not the cute one. In her pajamas and  puffy sneaker house shoes, Victoria felt it was the right time  introduce herself to this handsome guy. Tyson, barely raising his head from his book, gave her a hello and went right back to the grind.

Embarrassed, she quickly retreated back to her room and didn’t leave for a WEEK! Just kidding, but she was mortified.  Then on a Wednesday night at Cowboys Dance Hall  Tyson took a seat next to her and started chatting. Tyson didn’t recognize her at first until she pointed out that she had met him a few weeks ago. We spent the whole night talking and never left our seats.  From that night, they were inseparable.

From the Bride

Tyson is the most patient, sincere, genuine and fun person I know. He does whatever he can to provide me what I want and need and hates disappointing me. I don’t know what I did to deserve an amazing man like him, but I’m going to make sure I never lose him. What I used to want for my future was success, financial freedom, and the ability to travel at anytime. Now that I have Tyson in my life, I want to provide him a lifetime of happiness and experience everything I can with him. My only regret is not meeting him sooner.

The Reception

“I just want the cutest reception ever!” she told the Pop Parties team. And, if we do say so ourselves, we delivered! The deep wooden tones of the space and soft blooms were perfect in peach at hickory street annex for their big day! From the welcome sign, to the edison bulb chandelier over the head table, it was the perfect day for Tyson and Victoria!

Our favorite design highlights of Victoria and Tyson’s wedding day were the custom touches that her father built fo her. From their neon photo op backdrop, to their reclaimed wood altar: having personal details from her dad’s shop made the day extra special!
