The Pop Parties team had such a fun summer and we wanted to take some time for you to get to know us even better! We celebrated brides, took some time to relax, and worked hard to prepare for our busiest fall yet! We’ve even added a few new faces to our team since last year, but have just now had time to get together some new company photos.
Each quarter our talented team gets together for “planning school.” We review necessary items, improve our services, and continue our industry education. It is so important to our owner, Molly, that we always continue to improve and adapt to the challenges that we face on each of our events so that we are always serving our clients to the best of our ability.
Our well rounded team comes from different aspects of the wedding and events industry and is what sets us a part from other planning companies. Not only have we been producing events for over 10+ years, but our team has walked in the shoes of catering managers, chefs, service staff, and delivery drivers – and we know what it takes to get the job done well. From catering and venue management, to linen and decor sales, a “paper lover,” and sketch guru – our team really is here to serve as your best resource for all things wedding planning.

Hometown? Jenison, Michigan
Will you party like it’s your birthday? Well, not normally, sometimes planning a party for yourself just isn’t any fun. But this time – yes. We are going to Las Vegas to celebrate with 10 close friends and family – and it’s going to be a blast!
Little known fact about you? I used to twirl baton competitively until high school, then a switched to color guard and taught high school teams for almost 6 years! And yes, I can still do some twirling tricks!
What do you do when you aren’t planning weddings? If I’m not at an event or planning one I can be found at a Prophets and Outlaws concert, or snuggling on the couch with my mini dachshund Lucy. We love to travel and spend most of our free time outside of Texas when possible.
Pop Parties role? As the company owner and #girlboss at Pop Parties, I put my hand into a little of everything. My girls are constantly teaching me to trust and let go – and they only continue to thrive. I contribute to all of our events on the back end, that way each client gets a little extra expertise even though I may not be their lead planner. I also deal with all of our marketing, growth strategy, and company training. You can also hire me for full service wedding planning and design.

Little known fact about you? I showed pigs in high school. Think of it as party planning for pigs, as there were a lot of details that went into that!
Job prior to Pop Parties? I worked for a national linen retailer, BBJ Linen.
What do you do when you aren’t planning weddings? My husband, Aaron, and I enjoy attempting to make craft cocktails at home. We also enjoy hanging out with friends and family at the lake and trying new restaurants.
Pop Parties role? I am a Wedding and Event Planner and our Operations Coordinator. I oversee all of our staff scheduling, and client planning details. As we’ve grown, it’s been fun to oversee our dynamic group of women and help them grow as event professionals as well. I work with about 10 full service planning brides per year and handle all of our corporate sales and event planning.

What do you do when you aren’t planning weddings? I enjoy spending time on the lake and water sports! Also, I go to several country, preferably Texas county, concerts and festivals.
Pop Parties Role? I am a Wedding Planner and Social Media Coordinator. I get to work with lots of fun clients on both full service and day-of wedding planning. I previous worked for a wedding venue, so now I am very excited to be on the creative side of wedding planning and design.

Pop Parties role? I am the Pop Office Manager and weekend Event Assistant! I work along side Molly to ensure that our administrative items are always taken care of. Plus, I’m a huge crafter and paper fanatic – so I get to work on a lot of fun design projects too!
What do you do when you aren’t working? I volunteer for Alpha Chi Omega, get glitter all over my apartment with crafting, and spend time brunching with friends.

What do you do when you aren’t planning weddings? My husband Mike and I love to travel. I am also an avid wine drinker and love watching college football – mostly TCU – Go Frogs!
Pop Parties role? I am a Day Of Coordinator for Pop Parties. I am extremely detail oriented and love working through logistics and serving our couples!

Worst wedding memory? Having to call 911 and keep guests unaware of the situation, all the while trying to keep everyone focused on the wedding couple and the event.

What do you do when you aren’t planning weddings? I help out with our family’s custom golf products at Lamb Crafted. We also take family cruises and I play volleyball to workout!
Pop Parties role? I am a Day Of Coordinator and weekend event assistant. I previously worked at Ashton Gardens wedding venue and fell in love with weddings and our sweet families.

What do you do when you aren’t planning weddings? I go to watch my sister dance with her team and also travel with my husband who works for American Airlines.
Favorite wedding memory? I am a true romantic and I love the wedding ceremonies! When the Pastors are close to the couple, their messages are heartfelt and inspiring to me.
Pop Parties role? I am a Day Of Coordinator and weekend event assistant, I just really love weddings! I dreamed about mine for a long time and love helping other brides bring their dreams to life.
