The Bee’s Knees D Weddings Luncheon
To celebrate fifteen years in print, D Weddings hosted a luncheon recognizing their advertising partners and we had the honor of planning it! While brainstorming with the D Weddings team, the idea of honey bees kept coming up. Gold tones complimented the quintessential red D, making for a beautiful color palette. Using soft pink linens added a sweet Southern flair paired with assorted chargers and plates. The invitations and menu cards continued the bee motif. The soft gold foil accents of honeycomb and cute sayings like “Honey, D Loves You” carried the theme throughout the print materials.
The overall goal was to make sure the guest knew they were appreciated. We further the theme with foods featuring honey elements like thyme-infused vodka with honey lemonade and warm cream biscuits with whipped honey butter. What are some of our favorite design elements? Definitely the wooden laser cut bee bar menus and honey pot favors!
