Modern Wedding at the Nasher Sculpture Center

We are thrilled to share this stunning, modern wedding at the Nasher Sculpture Center with you all! This bride was looking for a contemporary, clean cut wedding design. With the help from our friends at Something Pretty Floral, Bella Accento, Lawson Event Rentals, BBJ Linen, and Stephanie Brazzle Photography, we were able to execute just that!

 

 

The Ceremony

To create a romantic, yet contemporary feeling to the ceremony we scattered candles along the staircase behind the alter. We used clean and angled florals to mimic the sharp angles seen throughout the Nasher Sculpture Center. Placed on top of clear acrylic columns, the floral arrangements resembled the staircase not far behind. Rose petals were the final touch to create the romantic ambiance they were looking for.

 

 

The Reception

The lawn space of the Nasher Sculpture Center was a blank canvas our team was eager to paint! We added lounge furniture for guests to kick up their feet after a long night of dancing. A mixture of farm tables and rounds complimented the contemporary artwork in the garden. While string lights floated overhead like twinkling stars in the night sky.

 

 

The Venue

The Nasher Sculpture Center was first opened in 2003. Raymond and Patsy Nasher had a longtime dream to create one of the finest collections of modern and contemporary art in the world. The museum features over 300 different masterpieces. Most of the exhibits come from the Nasher family’s private, family collection. Special exhibits are shared from other museums and private collections. The Nasher is the perfect spot for your rehearsal dinner, wedding, or special occasion!
