Kristen was the definition of “The Classic Blushing Bride” at The Adolphus Hotel this passed May. Her right hand man, Josh was the perfect fit for Kristen. The touch of blush really created a stunning and elegant night for the beautiful couple!
Josh and Kristen met online through a quite random connection of family and friends. They went on their first date at Henry’s Majestic in January. After becoming exclusive around mid April, they went on summer vacations with each others families–his in Colorado and hers to their family lake house for the 4th of July. Both of them were in school until Josh graduated in August, so they went through similar experiences with having to study on the weekends. In their free time they were each others means of a break from their busy school/work lives. Kristen visited Josh’s hometown in West Monroe in August, and after that she was pretty sure an engagement was on the horizon. Kristen and Josh love each others families and came from similar backgrounds.
The touch of blush at Royal Lane Baptist Church and The Adolphus Hotel downtown really made for a classic yet stunning wedding day. When we asked Kristen how she wants her guests to feel as they walk in the room she answered, “Amazed, I want them to walk in and think it’s beautiful without being over the top. Elegant and romantic and more on the amazed side.”
The entire Pop Parties team is the most organized, communicative, and on-it team I have encountered Their response time is unbelievable and made my entire wedding day stress-free. Not one detail was missed, and the wedding was the most beautiful and fun evening. They maintained professionalism, while also feeling like a close friend through the entire process. I could not recommend them enough.
