Armed with notes about Tara and Gaines, we pulled from our design bucket of "What if" ideas. What if we could have violinists and singers featured as the centerpiece on top of dining tables? Could it possibly be a dinner and a show type of wedding? The answer? It totally was; and so much more. Personal details included a vintage car owned by the Brides grandfather, and an Oliver themed cocktail hour as a nod to their pup. Next up? Dinner and a show for guests to enjoy, complete with lighting cues, movement and special effects. We wrapped up the evening with a tropical themed after party as a nod to where they met. The after party was complete with flamingo shaped jello shots and the Hamburglar passing out happy meals for late night snacks. It was an epic night for everyone who attended!
Tara and Gaines love to have fun, so we knew right off the bat their wedding was going to be a night to remember. While getting to know them we learned all the quick details, college affiliations, where they work, and all about their fur-kid Oliver. The two met at a Jimmy Buffet concert, which immediately sparked several ideas for our design team. Tara's family is also in the McDonalds business, so happy meals were a must too! Tara wanted a classic, black tie affair packed with wow factor moments for her guests to enjoy. As her dad put it "we want it to be epic!"
