After selecting a holiday wedding date and colors of gold, black and emerald, our team pitched the idea of “Christmas at Gatsby’s” where guests would enjoy opulent décor, unique entertainment, and an epic afterparty. The coupled trusted our team implicitly to take a 40,000 sqft space and develop an entertainment concept in shadow boxes, by shrinking the room to 8,000sq ft of event space for guests to enjoy. Personalized details included carolers, an ornament sign in tree, laser cut Christmas tree menus, and a Guatemala themed grooms cake. Roslyn’s dad wanted to throw the party of the year for his favorite daughter, so we also hosted 4 days of events surrounding their nuptials. If Jay Gatsby was a guest, we think he would approve of this over-the-top weekend!
Roslyn and Chris met at LSU, continuing the long line of LSU family history on the brides side, but the only son-in-law to also be a Tiger, automatically made them the “favorite.” Roslyn is the last of 4 sisters for a family we love and working with them was the cherry on top of weddings for this sweet family. The groom is from Guatemala, so we knew we had to incorporate his heritage, and Roslyn wanted an over-the-top wedding with something that had never been seen before -our favorite!
