Summer Wedding Style || Kate & Tommy, Fort Worth Texas

        

Part of kicking off 2017 with a new focus and fresh look means expanding our blog and sharing with you more details of our exciting weddings, events, and things that inspire us! Sometimes, I get so caught up in planning and taking care of our great clients that I can’t seem to find the time to share our successes, and even some failures with you. (Remember, learning from our mistakes is what helps us to prevent them for new clients like you!) Over the course of this year I will not only be sharing new weddings and features, but also want to flashback to some of our favorites over the years. “Oldie’s but goodie’s” if you will. So, without further a-do, I present to you The Bonn’s!

Kate and Tommy’s wedding was celebrated in a catholic mass at Saint Patrick’s Cathedral in downtown Fort Worth, followed by a reception at the outstanding Fort Worth Club. Her colors of soft pink and peach complimented her June date and timeless style. Kate’s love of fashion (and career at Neiman Marcus) pulled her into a stunning Vera Wang gown from Stanley Korshak Bridal. The best bargain of her wedding? The $37 Manolo Blahnik’s she found at the Neiman’s sample sale which were a perfect fit. What are the odds of that ladies?

Their day was pretty perfect, from the weather, to the florals, and the friends and family who gathered to celebrate their marriage. Our favorite detail of the evening – Kate’s stunning powder blue bridal cake, inspired by her love for Waterford-Wedgewood crystal. The pastry team at The Fort Worth Club really nailed this unique design and it is still one of my all time favorites. I love it when brides aren’t afraid to add some personal flair, or a pop of color.

           

Guests dined in a beautiful setting with overflowing candlelight, mixed florals and They danced the night away to a mix of classic tunes for all ages, and a few Spice Girl hit’s to bring back the good times. It was a night to remember for everyone in attendance, and ended with a beautiful rose petal departure.
